Job description

Role purpose: Support the growth in the segments building and industry in Benelux by in-depth end-customer understanding , creating the right value proposition for this segment.

Reporting to the Marketing Director Benelux, the Category Manager will play a key role in the management of his product-portfolio in line with the EMEA strategy but also in the contribution of the portfolio deployment and rationalization.

The role is based in our office in Panningen.

Aliaxis Nederland BV is part of the Benelux organization. You can therefore spend up to 35% of the time for Belgium. You will also be in regular contact with colleagues in the local production sites across EMEA.

Responsibilities

• Manages the life cycle of his/her ranges, within the framework of the Benelux marketing strategy, in line with the European policy;
• Understand current and expected market needs on key decision criteria for the various solutions;
• Manages the price positioning and proposes the necessary actions according to the distribution channels (price structure) across the product’s life cycle;
• Together with the Marketing Communication, prepare product information (catalogues, leaflets, digital, displays), as well as training materials;
• Support certification of products in collaboration with Quality/ Certification department.

Requirements

• Technical, commercial or business education background and a certain affinity for building & industry;
• Ability to build effective collaborative relationships and partnering across multiple functions at all levels of the organization
• Practical, pro-active and driven, demonstrated interpersonal skills and high organizational sensitivity
• Strong business acumen, ability to build credibility fast
• Fluent in Dutch and English; French and/or German is an asset

Being successful in the role will require an ability to adapt to a fast-paced and changing business environment and deal with ambiguity.
