Order Planner

What will you do as an Order planner at Arvato?

As an Order Planner you are responsible for releasing and monitoring the orders. You anticipate on the operation to ensure that there is no downtime and that all orders are shipped on time. You must therefore be able to look ahead and identify potential bottlenecks and prevent them where possible.

When releasing these orders you not only create work for your own department, but also for other departments. In addition, it is important that you are able to communicate about the workload that you give your colleagues. Furthermore, you are one of the first points of contact for the operation when there are problems with orders, system and equipment.

The key responsibility within your team lies in the up-to-date and accurate management of the stock and available resources for the operation and your customer. You are flexible in terms of working hours, working early and late shifts is part of the position and you’ll report to the Warehouse Supervisor.

Qualifications you bring with you as an Order Planner

• Mbo+ / hbo working and thinking level;
• You have excellent knowledge of the English language, both spoken and written;
• You have extensive and demonstrable experience in the use of Excel and/or SAP;
• You have knowledge of production / logistics processes, preferably in contract logistics.
