Arvato Supply Chain Solutions is expanding in terms of warehouse space and internal developments as well as in number of employees. To expand our growing operation, we are looking for a Production Planner Logistics in Venlo who is available full-time.
The Production Planner is an ideal starting position within logistics. You come into contact with different departments, the client, processes and people and you have a high responsibility.
As a Production Planner Logistics you are responsible for planning the resources and ensuring timely shipment by systematically preparing the orders and monitoring the progress. You work together with one colleague and report to the Warehouse Supervisor.
Your duties and responsibilities:
• Material planning based on customer forecast for Transformation activities;
• Request quotes for materials from supplier(s) & work closely with the PRO solutions team to get PO's placed and get optimal lead times to meet customer requirements;
• Creating pricing & PO requests for rework activities;
• Monthly PO invoicing for Transformation activities. To do so you have close communication with the Account Manager;
• Plan production for requested TRF activities based on component availability & resources
• Weekly Teams calls with the client discussing future TRF activities / forecasts;
• Work closely together with the Supervisor & operations team for optimal planning execution;
• Involved with external communication to become the first point of contact for the client.
What are we looking for in a new colleague?
To be successful in the position of Production Planner Logistics you are communicative, strong-minded and analytical.
What we look for in your resume:
- MBO+ working and thinking level;
- You have excellent knowledge of the English language, both spoken and written;
- You have extensive and demonstrable experience in the use of Excel;
- You have knowledge of production / logistics processes, preferably in contract logistics;
- It's preferred that you have knowledge of SAP.
