Traffic & Planning Employee

What will you do as a Traffic Employee at Arvato?

As a Traffic Employee you are responsible for the correct planning of the transport and the organization of several documents needed for the shipment of the outgoing goods. You are part of our High Tech business unit and report to the Supervisor Traffic. The service is characterized by strict standards for product security, special requirements for staff training and communication with the client.

Here is a brief description of your duties:

• Taking care of all documents (CMR, packing slips, export documents) required for the transport of the outgoing goods;
• Assigning transports to the docks and checking the correctness of the transport times;
• Supporting the transport planning department;
• Managing drivers and maintaining contact with the shippers;
• Involved in improving and optimizing the work in your own field and in cooperation with the Service Delivery & Traffic department;
• Signaling loading inaccuracies and communicating these to the departments concerned in a timely manner.

Qualifications you bring with you as a Traffic Employee

As a future Traffic Employee for Arvato, you have experience in logistics and/or transport and are looking for a new impulse. You enjoy planning and ensuring that documentation is correct. You also continue to perform effectively under time pressure and setbacks and ensure that you maintain an overview, so that the quality remains constant. In addition, you are always alert to the process, you initiate improvement opportunities and you like to commit to innovative projects. Furthermore, you:

• Completed a relevant vocational or bachelor education;
• Have experience with an ERP package, whereby experience with SAP is an advantage;
• You are flexible and in busy periods you are willing to work in shifts;
• Knowledge of the MS Office package;
• Excellent knowledge of the English language, Dutch is an advantage.
