Your role as NPI Lead
Your role in the projects will be to secure and coordinate the industrialization of the product in an efficient and successful way taking Quality, Logistics, Technics and (overall) Cost (QLTC) requirements into consideration. As a NPI Lead you are a part of the R&D project team and you act as the third pillar between Production project lead and R&D project lead. You will be is responsible for the delivery and execution of an integral and aligned New Product Implementation plan.
The NPI plan includes topics like, engineering’s approach, product structures, Product documentation creation, Supply Chain management, cost reporting, release planning, progress reporting and change management.
In your position as NPI-lead you will fulfill the role of chairman of the industrialization team (multidisciplinary) and lead the development and realization of the NPI-plan according the industrialization strategy approach of the project.

Department
As NPI Lead, you will be part of the R&D organization. Mostly depending on your educational background this can either be in the mechanical or electrical departments. From department point of view workmanship and development of our people is promoted. You work within R&D effectively in a matrix organizational structure of departments and projects.
