Your challenge as Strategic Buyer for the logistics sector:
You act as global Procurement lead buyer for the logistics division and manage logistics purchasing at our location in Poing near Munich, Germany or in Venlo, Netherlands
In this role, you will be responsible for cross-location stakeholder management, developing our raw materials strategy and ensuring that the procurement targets for your raw materials, goods and merchandise are met
You interact with your stakeholders to understand their needs and requirements and connect them with the right suppliers
The development of a balanced supply base and the building of relationships with suppliers enables you to achieve the best results for your stakeholders
In addition, you will be responsible for contract and supplier management as well as for evaluations and reporting for your stakeholders
You are responsible for the harmonization of processes, the bundling of volumes and the exchange of best practices
As the majority of your main stakeholders are located in Poing and Venlo headquarter, you are expected to work at both sites alternately
Your Qualifications:
You have a bachelor’s degree in logistics, business administration, economics or a comparable course of studies
You have already gained 5 years of professional experience in a similar position
You are an enthusiastic networker with the ability of maintaining your internal and external network
You have strong communication and analytical skills
You are flexible and willing to travel regularly to Venlo, Netherlands
Your good written and spoken English skills round off your profile, Dutch and/or German is a plus
