Your challenge
In this role you are challenged to contribute to the achievement of our business targets and objectives by creating a best-in-class supply base for our non-product related portfolio. You'll be working in a team where your main focus will be to search for suitable vendors and take care of the negotiations. You'll do market research, contact suppliers, arrange meetings to discuss performance and negotiate to get the prices that we need for our business. You work with a focus on innovation in order to get to solutions that help the business to accelerate. Your passion, enthusiasm and networking ability are your key strengths to interact with suppliers and internal stakeholders at all levels. You are an excellent relationship-builder, an innovator and you know how to inspire and convince others.
This position is located in Venlo, The Netherlands. You report to the Manager Procurement NPR
Department
The department of Procurement - Non Product-Related (10 procurement professionals at our site in Venlo and 6 procurement professionals at our site in Poing, Munich) is globally responsible for the procurement of non-product-related goods and services, divided into categories such as ICT, Marcom, Logistics, Professional Services and Travel. The department is the link between internal stakeholders and external suppliers and therefore strategically positioned to match supply and demand, to optimize processes and to manage and improve achievements of/and relationships with suppliers.
Who are we looking for?
• You have a bachelor degree, preferably by finishing a bachelor education in business administration, economics or logistics
• You have at least a few years working experience in a similar role in which you have proven to be innovative and entrepreneurial
• Your analytical skills are well developed, next to your business-feeling, drive and organization sensitivity
• Next to excellent communication skills, you are fluent in English.
