Office Depot Europe has an exciting opportunity for a Page Planning Specialist to join our European headquarters in Venlo, the Netherlands. The role is a fulltime, permanent positionoffering an excellent salary and benefits package.

Your role as a Page Planning Specialist

Your role is to establish and manage a regional product assortment for use by all customer segments for printed touch points for multiple countries. Create compelling customer touch point assortments and materials that maximise profitable sales opportunities, customer growth and retention, and business development. Determine the positioning of products and promotions in catalogues to achieve best in class product marketing. Support the category management activities for all countries or regions concerning offline publications.

• Plan and review product pages of the Viking catalogues in the Content Management System (STEP).
• Use personal skills, knowledge and abilities to drive profitable sales growth and achieve set targets and KPIs within the designated categories
• Define, monitor and operate the offline product strategy, delivering optimal growth and profitability, and offering a compelling customer proposition
• Develop the promotional plans based on existing mail-plans and promotional tactical plan to feature products on pages for printed publications based on product marketing parameters and Bi driven information
• Develop pagination and product running orders for Viking catalogues
• Support Marketing in promotional plans based on existing mail-plans and promotional tactical plan for featuring products based on product marketing parameters and BI driven information
• Maintain and ensure excellent communication and information links with all relevant departments such as Marketing teams, Scrum, Creative Production and others departments involved in publication creation

What do you need to be successful in this role?

• MBO or Bachelor level of thinking with several years of experience in the area of merchandising and/or marketing
• Workable knowledge of Information Systems: PC literate (Word, Excel, Power point, Google mail) content management systems (CMS)
• Ability to work with complex systems (PIM/CMS, etc), structures and processes
• Is good at planning and knows how to solve problems
• Excellent language skills in English, spoken and written. Other language skills such as Dutch or German would be a distinct advantage
