We have an opportunity for a Field Service Engineer to join our Venlo, NL team. You will be performing service, maintenance, preventive maintenance, and repair work. In this function, you are providing advice on service and maintenance work in the field of mechanical engineering for process installations.

You Will

  • Discuss the work assignment (approach, scope, planning and work in and out) with the service manager
  • Be responsible for timely inventory of necessary resources, such as a company car, tools, and materials.
  • Where appropriate, take care of, prepare, and check the required materials/parts before transport to location
  • Be responsible for checking and managing materials, parts, and tools.
  • If necessary, in the event of a shortage of materials, parts, tools arrange replenishment by sending it from the Pentair Organization or purchasing it locally.
  • Coordinate, plan, distribute and supervise the activities of the service team.
  • Be responsible for directing and instructing hired employees and other personnel who have been made available to carry out the service activities.
  • Be carrying out service activities on location (international)
  • ensure order, tidiness, and safety in the workplace.
  • periodically, be reporting (verbally and by mail) on the progress of the work (more/less more, deviation reports, etc.)

Key Qualifications

  • MBO + working and thinking level.
  • Knowledge of process technology of water and beverage installations, with membrane technology in particular.
  • Knowledge of chemistry, in the direction of chemical technology
  • knowledge of Process Engineering (construction and operation of the installations)
  • Knowledge of Instrumentation (flow, pressure, level, analysis, etc.)
  • Broad knowledge of Automation PLC and SCADE
  • Knowledge of Electrical Engineering such that small changes can be made to control and field panels.
  • Knowledge of safety, occupational health and safety, environmental and quality regulations
  • English, good written and spoken language skills
  • VCA-VOL.
