Job Description
- Lead the Service and Technical Support Teams from strategy to new business acquisition to order execution and aftermarket service
- In partnership with the Sales team, may be involved with negotiations on terms and pricing for service contracts with customers.
- Realize objectives as defined in Annual Operating Plan (AOP)
- Creates an environment for successful continuous improvement processes in all areas of service with focus on aligning between the following multiple sites: Venlo, Daytona and Fredericia
- Develops and maintains a strong relationship built on mutual trust, respect and cooperation with direct customers and other channel partners, distribution management and strategic accounts.
- Organizes technical and other service-related training for customers, employees and channel partners.
- Managing the execution of service contracts and SLA’s with customers
- Monthly reporting of performance reports, actuals vs forecast and plan in bowling chart setup
- Lead, support and energize cross functional collaboration required for effective and efficient SGS installed base service management
- Implementing all relevant elements of the service concept, aligned with Product Management
- Talent development of employees by means of formulating and follow up of individual training and development plans by using the skill matrix
Location & Travel:
- Venlo, Daytona or Fredericia
- Travel up to 50 days a year
Experience & Background
- Strong teamwork and networking skills, pro-actively collaborates with peers in other product categories in the Industrial Solutions group, sharing best practices, lessons learned as part of CI.
- including the ability influence, motivate and negotiate across diverse groups and teams
- Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SAP, Salesforce
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Electronics, Manufacturing, Service or related discipline preferred.
- 5-10 years’ experience in service management role.
