We have an opportunity for an Inside Sales Engineer AMS to join our Venlo, NL team. You will pro-actively offer and guide the ordering and delivery of AMS spare parts processes, with the aim of co-realizing a predetermined budget with a corresponding result, and advising the external and internal customers with regards to AMS with the aim of high customer satisfaction.

You Will

  • Make quotations for spare parts and service in SAP
  • Independently set up and fine-tune recommended spare parts lists for new and existing machines and product lines.
  • Actively promote and offer spare parts and service activities
  • Actively follow up on outstanding offers
  • Respond to incoming customer inquiries and requests (from various sources including e-mail, telephone, referral, service visit notes)
  • Coordinate and research legacy Pentair Haffmans requests as necessary
  • Support Sales Managers within Pentair globally to achieve sales targets for the team
  • Target and grow the spare parts business through pro-active marketing opportunities
  • Support global service sales managers and provide them with info when visiting clients
  • Perform technical analysis of legacy and discontinued replacement parts for suitability of purpose
  • Provide courteous, timely, efficient, and effective customer service
  • Inform Internal departments about an efficient and effective quotation and order processing towards the customer, about the correctness of the product, and about the content of manuals with regard to spare parts Systems.

Key Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree, with a technical background and commercial experience.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar position, with commercial and technical insight.
  • Excellent computer skills, with knowledge of Microsoft Office and SAP
  • Good communicator with excellent verbal and written skills in English and preferably Dutch. A third language (preferably German) is a plus.
  • You are commercial, creative, and solution-oriented, proactive, energetic, and conceptual with a hands-on mindset.
  • Ability to interact with customers and colleagues in a professional and effective manner
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously and to prioritize their importance, good organizational skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and follow-up, ability to meet critical deadlines as assigned.
  • Regular and prompt attendance
