Summary

The Integrated Supply Chain Manager manages all aspects of the organization's supply chain management and operations, including procurement, project management, vendor relations, production, logistics, distribution, installation & commissioning and aftermarket service. Develops and implements plans for managing supply chain processes for project execution and operations. Oversees demand forecasting, supply planning, and procurement to ensure resource requirements are satisfied. Communicates with executives regarding business needs to secure resources needed to satisfy customer demands and ensure delivery and/or implementation.

General Responsibilities

• Establish & drive global SGS-Integrated Supply Chain Strategy (project management, operations & supply)
• Continuous develop the organization structure to fit he strategy and develop people
• Drive continuous improvement in SQDCC through whole Value Stream of SGS
• Drive overall operational excellence through the application of best-in-class project management, lean practices and processes. Champion implementation of the Pentair Integrated Management System (PIMS) Lean Enterprise principles and processes.
• Address key business performance challenges through structured problem solving based on root cause identification and corrective & preventive actions.
• Identify and drive continuous improvement opportunities to streamline process and improve accuracy and efficiency within operations.
• Establish and achieve performance goals and objectives for factory operations as well as for suppliers. Provide feedback and corrective & preventive action to achieve goals and objectives.
• Consolidate warehouse and distribution activities that lead to more effective & efficient supply chains
• Build relationships within the company and with external parties, such as suppliers or distributors.
• Develop budgets that show costs for materials, inventory management and transportation
• Develop integrated supply chain (Operations & Supply) plans that consider changes in environmental laws, infrastructure changes, local laws and regulations and the best transportation choices
• Track performance of outside vendors to ensure they are meeting standards
• Focus on talent and organizational development, develop an effective succession planning process, and creates a culture focused on continuous improvement.
  
  

Profile

• BS or BA degree in Operations Management, Business Administration or Supply Chain Management. Masters’ Degree is preferable but not mandatory
• 8 plus years of experience in Supply Chain Management, preferably Operations, Manufacturing and Purchasing leadership in an industrial environment preferable in project business
• Excellent organizational and Project Management skills, preferable PM-certified
• Result-oriented and communicative team player with international scope
• Technical, analytical, creative and solution-oriented
• Entrepreneurial with a just-do-it mentality
• You are proactive, energetic and conceptual with a hands-on mindset
• Good written and spoken English is a must. Dutch is a plus.
• International travel (approx. 30%) is a requirement for this function
• Location is TBD; On a frequent basis working in Venlo
