Pentair’s Sustainable Gas Solutions, contribute to this Mission by supplying CO2 Technologies to Recover, Extract and Generate Carbon Dioxide (CO2) and Biogas Upgrading solutions turning Biogas waste into Revenue Streams (Biomethane and CO2), enabling our clients lowering their carbon and energy footprint, and protecting the environment. Currently we sell and service our products in more than 150 countries around the world in the Food & Beverage and Biogas industries.

In order to achieve further growth, we have a great opportunity for a:

Lean Specialist SGS

The Lean Specialist is responsible for designing and implementing lean systems that align with plant strategy deployment targets. The role requires working collaboratively cross the organization (Fredericia and Venlo) with the quality team and the other colleagues.

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Being a change agent and drive out waste throughout the ‘End to End’ organization
  • Organize, plan and deliver team training based on lean concepts throughout the whole organization (locations Fredericia (DK) and Venlo (NL))
  • Analyze and assess operational current condition to design and implement lean processes and systems to improve areas of the business
  • Define measurable SQDCC goals and objectives for lean activities
  • Teach others to sustain and continue improvement activities
  • Communicate plans, actions and results to the company
  • Utilize lean tools to drive projects to meet plant strategy deployment targets
  • Promote and ensure lean practices throughout company and external key suppliers
  • Participate directly and indirectly in all kaizen events
  • Participate in Supplier lean development activities as required
  • Lead and support projects throughout the site
  • Working together with the Quality team to optimize processes
  • Train colleagues in lean principles
  • Expected travel time will be a maximum of 25%
Reporting Line And Team
  • Reports to the SGS Quality Manager
  • Dotted reporting line to the Site Leaders of Fredericia and Venlo
  • Close collaboration with Senior Lean manager
Key Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree; B.S. in Industrial/Mechanical Engineering/Business Administration
  • Lean certification is a preference
  • Knowledge of Lean is a must
  • Minimum of 2 to 5 year experience in all functional areas across a ‘Project Based business’
  • Computer skills (MS windows, MS office, Email, SAP, AX, Visio)
  • Should have team building and Kaizen/rapid execution/improvement abilities
  • Must be proactive, creative and a hands-on change agent
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) within all organization levels
  • Systems thinker and passionate for lean principles (for example 5 Why, RCCM and Pareto analysis)
  • Enjoy challenging and fast paced environments
  • Goal oriented and able to complete assignments on time
  • Must be open-minded
  • Able to communicate effectively in the English language
