We have an opportunity for a Production Supervisor to join our Venlo, NL team. You will provide operational leadership to the production department, assembly employees, packers and supervisors of the relevant sub-contractors for the timely realization of production orders so that they can be processed in a safe and efficient way. The Production Supervisor directs and prioritizes activities for the realization of the internal production and maintains contact with the business office, designers, and project management team during assembly and is the first point of contact for these departments and sub-contractors.

You Will

  • Be responsible for the working safety procedures by the production department, assembly employees, packers and sub-contractors who work in the workshop and supervises the execution of these safety procedures
  • Be responsible for the order and cleanness of the workplaces. You will motivate and address employees on this and stimulate a clean and tidy workplace.
  • Be responsible for the timely execution of the production orders according to schedule and guaranteeing the quality with the aim of an optimal result
  • Coordinate the planning with the production department, assembly employees, packers and supervisors of the relevant sub-contractors.
  • Ensure a good distribution and balancing of work to optimize the lead time of projects and the costs of (external) resources
  • Check the quality produced and process the production information in the technical construction file for quality assurance and certification
  • Convey the goals and strategy of the company in daily leadership

Key Qualifications

  • MBO + or HBO degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a production environment.
  • Leadership abilities.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Being able to work across departments.
  • Being able to intervene adequately in the event of problems occurring.
  • Good writing and speaking skills in Dutch, English, and German.
