In order to achieve further growth, we are looking for a:

Project Manager Systems (1 FTE)

OBJECTIVE OF THE POSITION

The Project Manager is responsible for leading teams to deliver projects that span across our Biogas upgrading and CO2 recovery area. Manage team resources, project schedules and costs, related to the projects from the moment of order intake to the moment of successful start-up. This also includes management of issues, risks and project change requests to ensure successful and on-time project delivery. Contribute to process improvement initiatives as it relates to improving project delivery. Project management facilitation in such a way that execution on projects is full in control within the stipulated time, quality, financially, resources vise and scope in accordance with requirements of the client and/or contracts.

Position Within The Company

Reporting hierarchically to the Team leader Project Management.

Description Of The Activities

• Supporting Sales with initial project plans and cost estimations for execution.
• Starting the project and informing stakeholders (project kick-off internally and externally).
• Contract Management - Ensures compliance with contractual agreements, obligations, quality and performance levels.
• Coordination and follow-up on engineering, plant design, manufacturing and logistics activities
• Project follow-up and reporting (Resource consumption, execution and financial)
• Managing the critical path of the projects / Risk management
• Delivering and evaluating projects both internally and externally. Supported by risk analysis and mitigation throughout the phases of the project
• Develops and maintains relationships with customers regarding solutions, project expectations, progress and problems.
• Prepare onsite activities with local contractors to achieve the planning within budget for onsite works.
• Coordination of onsite works together with the Haffmans site supervisor and chief commissioning engineers during installation and commissioning works.
• Ensuring a correct settlement of the agreed payment conditions.
• Manage change orders during the project execution phase.
• Transfer project documentation to Aftermarket for further follow-up and implementation of the service contract.

Responsible For

• Manage complex custom made technical projects
• Provide leadership for project team by building and motivating team members to meet project goals, adhering to their responsibilities and project milestones
• Report on project success criteria, results, metrics etc.
• Prepare estimates and detailed project plan for all phases of the project
• Predict material and hours costs to spend in the timeline of the project
• Manage the day-to-day project activities and resources and chairs the project team meetings
• Monitor team performance and complete performance reviews
• Provide monthly status reporting regarding project milestones, deliverable, risks and issues, communicating across leadership
• Support how solutions will address client goals while maintaining alignment with industry best practices
• Manage project scope and changes
• Manage ongoing quality control and participate in quality issue resolution
  
  

Qualifications And Competences

• Bsc or Msc in a technical study.
• Knowledge and experience in cooling technology and processing technology is an advance.
• Experience in Food and Beverage or Biogas industry is an advance
• 5+ years of experience within project management
• Ability to lead, guide and coach project team members
• Proficiency in SAP is an advance
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, ability to interact effectively with all levels of management
• Ability to prioritize, manage time effectively, escalate issues appropriately, and keep information confidential is critical to this position
• Overall knowledge of technical area’s; mechanical-, automation-, process-, electrical engineering
• English (and preferable German) language in word and writing.
• Detailed background knowledge and/or hands-on experience relevant to the company.
• Proactive and able to use initiative.
• Ability to set and meet objectives.
• Flexible approach to work.
• Good time management skills and ability to multitask
• Able to travel (international) to our customers for projects meetings when required (approx. 6 times a year).
