For our Finance team we are looking for a:

CONTROLLER (Fulltime m/f/d in Venlo)

About the role

The Finance team is located in our brand-new Head office in Venlo, close to the German border in the Netherlands. In this role you will be responsible for keeping our costs and investments under control and for providing advice based on valuable reporting and insights that you will prepare.

This means that you take the lead in the preparation of our costs and investments analysis & reporting and forecasting process. You will also get the opportunity to work as finance business partner directly with several members of our senior management and you will be daily supported and coached by our Senior Controlling Manager.

What you will do

• Responsible for the current and future total company costs and investments analysis and reporting
• Preparation, coordination and further development of the (department) forecasting process
• Support during month-end and quarterly closure procedures
• Support the senior controlling manager during planning cycles
• Finance support for various departments in our organization
• Support of our Enterprise Risk Management process
  
  

About you

We are looking for an ambitious finance professional with a keen eye for further optimization opportunities. Needless to say you have strong numerical and analytical skills and the ability to maintain an overview of the financial landscape. You are focused on quality and equipped with strong communication and persuasion skills.

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance (Controlling / Accounting) or Business Administration.

Some years of relevant working experience in a Controlling or Financial analyst position.

Energized by continuous improvement of existing processes and reports and adding value by supporting various departments in our organization.

You love Data and manage this by extensive MS Office skills and experience with (or the willingness to learn) PowerBI, PowerQuery and PowerPivot.

Dutch and/or German skills are an advantage.

For this position an EU working permit is required.
